St Brigid's Day Crosses

On Saint Brigid's Day we watched a video about the history of Saint Brigid on the board. 

We learned about the cloth that Saint Brigid wore herself.

 

After that we saw a video of how to make a Saint Brigid's cross. Later we got put with partners. Then we tried to make the crosses ourselves. It was a tricky experience to do but after a while we were all done.

 

Oh yes forgot! we also got the Monday off school, as it was a new Bank Holiday for everyone.
